Your girl got sent some beauty products by a Nigerian based company called "Sherry Organics" and if you know anything about me, you'll know that I love natural beauty products so I was more than a bit chuffed to receive them.
I was asked to do a review of them and I had to make it clear that I'd give a totally unbiased opinion so here goes...
The first soap I tried out was the "Goat milk and Orange soap"
First of all, it smells divine *I'm biased towards citrusy scents* but it's not an overpowering kind of citrus. Subtle but definitely there.
Great lather *which I'm big on too*
It's kinda coated in crushed blueberry seeds which might not be to everyone's taste but I liked it because I felt it exfoliated my skin.
Next stop was the "Vanilla Body Soufflé"
Ahhhhhhhhh......this was just wonderful.
Light as a feather but you still feel moisturized.
The only downside for me regarding this particular product is that I have really dry skin this time of the year so I wouldn't use it in the morning because I'd probably have to top it up sometime during the day.
Perfect for night time baths *especially if you are having company because it also smells gorgeous *
Next stop, the "Geranium and Coal" soap.
I'll start with aesthetics..it's black and white so it already looks super cool and as usual with their products so far, smells super yummy.
I found that this didn't lather quite as well as the goats milk and Orange soap but still pretty decent.
It also dried my skin out a bit which is probably due to the bentonite and activated coal in it...this would have been fine if this were rainy season when my skin is one big oil well!! Lol!! If you have oily skin, this is probably perfect for you. In fact, I'll keep it aside and try it again in the rainy season and update this then. Next up is the "Aloe Vera and Rosemary" Soap.... As usual, this smells divine. It has a spicy/herby kinda scent which is probably due to the rosemary. It lathers beautifully and also has a coating of crushed strawberry seeds which i really like because it made me feel exfoliated. The next soap i tried was the "Oatmeal and Shea Butter" soap Let me confess that there was an instant bias towards this because my regular lotion is the "St Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter" body lotion!!! It certainly didn't disappoint. Beautiful creamy lather and gorgeous scent. What i absolutely LOVED about this soap is that as much as i felt thoroughly clean, i also felt moisturized. Guys, I'm middle-aged.... moisture is everything at this stage in my life. Next up is the "Patchouli and Clay" soap for some reason, i really took to this *which surprised me because of the clay* I think it strikes that balance between moisturizing and drying, do you know what i mean? Lovely lather and it has a distinct scent that I really liked *must be the hemp oil* I ended my testing regimen with the scrub.. It's called the "Dead Sea Salt Body Scrub" I used it after bathing with the Oatmeal and Shea Butter soap and rinsed off with warm water People!!!! My skin felt like silk!! Moisturized, soft and ohhhhh so smooth!! As a treat to myself, i now used the Vanilla Body Souffle Yaaaaaaaaaaaaas honey!! This combo is perfect for date night #ThankAuntyBokilater In conclusion, my faves are the Goats milk and Orange soap, the Oatmeal and Shea Butter soap, the Patchouli and clay soap, the yummy Vanilla Body souffle and of course the scrub. On a side note, if you want your whole yard smelling like a fancy upscale spa....these product are for you. *is it obvious I'm big on scents?* Their website is still under construction but you can find them on Instagram Sherry_organics and whatsapp +2348066456857 Have a wonderful day folks!!!! MMMMMMWWWWWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHH
