For whatever reason, this has been the season of women misyarning…..

I don’t understand why women with an audience consistently CHOOSE to put out damaging narratives. We KNOW they know better *or am I just being overly optimistic?*

Anyway, just in case you have absolutely no clue what i’m going on about, please watch…..

I mentioned Wana in this video, please check her out on IG . Her handle is @mswanawana

I KNOW for a fact that the religious sheep will come for my head but i dont care, yall will be alright.

I sincerely hope the backlash she got from that video serves as note of warning to her and other men/Women of God who makes others feel like scum. Guilt tripping people into ‘submission’.

    Thx ma’am.

I think you misinterpreted her Aunty Boki. She actually used 1 million naira as an example. It could be 500 naira or even 50 naira. I understand her point and i kinda agree with her but the way she put it is totally wrong. She should’ve carefully selected her choice of words and explained better.
I know some women prefer to be housewives but there’s no harm having a little extra income even as a housewife. Get some money from your husband and start up something, employ someone to do the running arounds and still get your money without stress. There are also jobs one can run from home. The money that comes in might not even be useful to your husband but it will help one way or the other; could support the kids, your hair or even as little as a matchbox for the house.
To be honest, if my mum didn’t start up something when she did, our family of 7 would be living on pension. It’s no joke when reality sets in. No matter how rich a man is, there will be ups and downs. How then do you help handle the downs as a helpmate?
It is advisable to have a means that provides some sort of extra income.
    I hope i explained better.

I agree with Charis…..personally i understand what she (Pastor Funke) was trying to say but her approach was very wrong and her tone was kinda mean. All in all, you are right in saying that public figures who have things to say shouldn’t leave themselves open to being misunderstood. I think i’m a pretty religious person but when it comes to believing everything that Preachers say hook, line and sinker? Thats a No for me! If something does not sound right to me, i go do some bible research myself and if there’s no biblical basis to it? I simply don’t accept it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

OMG! I’m just watching this. She actually said being a home maker isn’t enough????? OMG!
OMG! I’ve worked for 15years now. Now my baby in January and I haven’t been able to go back to work. Infact, I dont intend to go back till maybe next year. And that’s just me with one baby o.
Ah no, this is so sad coming from someone people hold in high esteem.

My doctor (male) when he wants to ask what you do asks ‘do you work out of your home’? I asked why he phrases it this way and he said because being a homemaker is a job and people feel bad when they have to say ‘oh no I don’t work, im a homemaker.
That’s a guy saying that ọ. Now a female pastor is saying this. 🙁
